About the Game

Since early childhood, Maxine has been plagued by night terrors and the bellowing echo of imaginary companions following them around at every move. Their social battery drains quickly, their body shuts down sitting in the sun, and the depression has overcome them to the point of pure exhaustion.
As Halloween Night arrives and a party at Camille's house approaches, Maxine decides to rest their eyes to prepare for the grueling experience of forcing a smile to party-going college kids. With eyes laid shut and a mouth drooling wide open, Max fades to sleep and enters the Dreamscape -
a common sequence of interchangeable dreams and nightmares with their Companions nowhere to be found.
The only time for quiet. Though this time, there was something.. there.
A watching eye.
A presence.
