About the Game

"Underwater Mortuary" is a in-the-making surrealist horror RPG surrounding the protagonist MAXINE, an unemployed 19-year-old plagued by chronic night terrors and terrifying visions of humanoid companions accompanying them throughout their dreams. You, as the player, must navigate these dreamscapes to find key items to escape to the next level. The deeper you enter MAXINE's psyche, the more you uncover about these mysterious companions and their duties alongside the victim. Your ultimate goal is to wake MAXINE up with various grounding techniques, some of which stretching the limits of what they're capable of in the real world. Wander through endless halls, drown amongst a school of fish, and find no escape to the toy airplanes you shrink into. It's up to you where you stay.
